In Mythology, the Muses were Nine Goddesses who symbolized the Arts and Sciences. These adored deities gave artists, philosophers and individuals the necessary inspiration for Creation. They represented Song, Dance and Memory- on whose mercy the creativity, wisdom and insight of all artists and thinkers depended. Today, as a verb, to Muse is to consider something thoughtfully. As a noun, it means a person- especially a woman- who is the source of artistic inspiration.

My vision behind this candle is inspired by my captivation with not only Mythology but the colors, wonders and otherworldliness of the Northern Lights or Aurora Borealis. Ultimately, I created this candle with the Awakened Artist and Dreamer in mind.

Aurora’s have been observed since ancient times. The Greeks and the Romans believed the northern lights represented the visible path of the dawn, named Aurora. Polar lights are a natural phenomenon that occurs when the Sun creates the solar winds. When the solar wind gets past the magnetic field and travels towards the Earth, it runs into the atmosphere causing electrons in the atoms to move to a higher-energy state. When the electrons drop back to a lower energy state, they release a photon: light. The result is a dazzling dance of green, blue, purple, pink and white lights in the sky forming in a ring shaped area.

Ocean Rose is the scent profile of this stunning candle- it combines top notes of sweet mandarin and wildflower honey with middle notes of lily and rose to create a beautiful airy, floral fragrance.

Labradorite, “The Crystal of the Illuminated Path”- is one of the most majestic crystals of them all, the Dreamers stone. The stunning rainbow colored flashes of this stone are often compared and said to be connected to the Aurora Borealis. Labradorite is the gem stone of magic, all of the Chakra’s are activated by this crystal- but this Third Eye and Crown Chakra are especially connected with Labradorite. Those who wear it are said to awaken mental, psychic and intuitive abilities. It helps with raising consciousness and connects to Universal energies. The protective energies of this crystal creates an interface of your own energetic field as well as others. Labradorite accesses soul’s purpose while grounding us at the same time.

Clear Quartz Crystal is a power stone that harmonizes and balances. It augments energy by absorbing, amplifying, and balancing, storing, retrieving, focusing, transmitting and channelling universal energy and is excellent for unblocking it.
